Responsibilities of the Intern:

• End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and deploy new features and applications across the technology stack, supporting both public-facing and internal management tools.
• Backend Engineering: Develop and maintain scalable server-side logic, primarily using PHP (or a relevant framework), for application functionality and data processing.
• Frontend Development: Implement highly responsive and intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance the user experience for aid recipients and internal teams.
• Database Management: Work with MySQL/MariaDB to design database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure the security and integrity of all Foundation data.
• Quality & Security: Participate in rigorous code reviews and debugging to ensure the application is secure, stable, and compliant with data handling best practices for a non-profit organization.

Requirements:

• Technical Foundation: Solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development principles.
• Backend Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB).
• Frontend Proficiency: Experience with modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS for building modern UIs.
• Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills and a commitment to completing project milestones precisely and on time.
