ADVERTISEMENT FOR PAID INTERNSHIPS

For Engineering / Science UG & PG Students

Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL), one of the premier laboratories of DRDO, invites applications from Indian students with excellent academic records for Paid Internships for a period of six months.

Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible students pursuing Under-Graduation (B.Tech) or Post-Graduation (M.Sc) in Engineering / Science, latest by 17 November 2025, for the following disciplines:

Total Vacancies: 41 (Category a + b)

1. Minimum Educational Qualification

• Pursuing full-time Graduate / Post-Graduate degree in Engineering or Science from a recognized Indian University / Institute.

2. Duration of Internship

• 06 Months

• Progress Report: After 3 months

• Final Project Report: After 6 months

• Certificate: Issued upon successful completion

3. Selection Procedure

• Minimum 75% marks or ≥7.5 CGPA from AICTE/UGC-approved institutions.

• Application must be forwarded by Principal / HOD / TPO for meritorious students only.

• Age Limit: Below 28 years

• Selection based on:

  • Academic performance (CGPA/Percentage)

  • Online / Telephonic Interview (if required)

• Only selected students will be notified via email.

• Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.

• Selection purely on merit basis; in case of tie, marks of lower examination will be considered.

4. Procedure for Submission of Application

Send applications by Speed Post with the envelope clearly mentioning:
“Application for Paid Internship: Starting January 2026”
and the Branch Code (e.g., CSE, MEE, etc.)

5. Boarding / Lodging

• Not provided by TBRL.

• Students must arrange their own accommodation.

6. Payment of Stipend

• ₹5,000/- per month (paid in two installments):

  • 1st Installment: After 3 months

  • 2nd Installment: After completion (6 months)

• Eligible only if the student attends at least 15 working days/month.

• Paid directly to the student’s bank account.

7. Award of Certificate

• Granted only after:

  • Completion of internship

  • Submission of final project report

  • Clearing project evaluation

• No certificate or stipend if the student leaves mid-way.

8. Terms & Conditions

1. Interns must follow all TBRL/DRDO rules and regulations.

2. Internship does not guarantee employment with DRDO.

3. DRDO reserves all rights to modify or cancel vacancies without notice.

4. Canvassing or personal follow-ups will lead to disqualification.

5. Selected students must report to TBRL, Ramgarh Range, District Panchkula, Haryana.

6. Working Hours: As per lab schedule; only sick leave with valid prescription allowed.

7. Undertakings required on secrecy, IT compliance, and non-publication of data.

8. No boarding, lodging, or transport allowance provided.

9. DRDO is not responsible for injuries during internship.

10. Any dispute will be subject to the decision of TBRL/DRDO Management.

9. Documents Required at the Time of Joining

• TPO letter (6-month training duration)

• Bonafide & Character Certificate

• NOC from College (Original)

• Police Verification Certificate

• Undertaking under Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923

• Undertaking on IT Rules compliance

• Bank details for stipend transfer

• Aadhaar Card (Original) & College ID (for verification)

• Three (03) Passport-size photographs

• All previous semester mark sheets (original / college-held proof)

• Any additional documents as communicated during selection
