The Red Hat IT Partner Integrations team is looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to gain hands-on experience with open source join us as a Software Engineering Intern in Pune, India. As a Software Engineering intern in this role, you will

• Work with others to solve challenging and complex business problems

• Collaboratively describe and size the work to be done and then implement the solution

• Write code and automated tests for the continuous delivery (CD) pipeline

What you will bring:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, computer science, or a related field in final year of university or tertiary institution

• Coding experience in languages like Java, C, Javascript or Python

• Knowledge in using relational databases like MySQL or non relational databases like MongoDB

• Familiarity in JS Frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue

• Familiarity with agile software development and methodologies

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of the UNIX or Linux operating system

The following are considered a plus:  

• Previous code contributions to or participation in open source projects or code samples on GitHub
