About the Role

We are seeking a technically strong WordPress Developer to build and maintain our Wealth Management platform. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of WordPress (themes, plugins, APIs, custom post types) and the ability to create scalable, secure, high-performance websites.

You will work closely with our design team (handling UI/UX) while focusing on coding, functionality, speed, and backend integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using best practices and clean, modular code
• Create and modify themes, plugins, and custom post types adhering to WordPress coding standards
• Implement custom functionalities and workflows beyond default WordPress capabilities
• Integrate front-end designs (provided by designers) into functional, responsive WordPress templates
• Optimize site performance, security, and SEO compatibility
• Work with APIs and third-party integrations (e.g., CRM, financial data feeds, user login systems)
• Manage theme installation, updates, and plugin configurations
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility compliance
• Troubleshoot issues, perform debugging, and maintain version control (Git)
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress releases, PHP versions, and development standards

Technical Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL
• In-depth understanding of WordPress core, theme hierarchy, hooks, and APIs
• Experience with custom post types, taxonomies, shortcodes, widgets, and custom plugins
• Ability to convert Figma/PSD files to fully functional WordPress sites
• Familiarity with child/parent theme architecture and best practices
• Proficiency with WordPress Multisite setups (preferred)
• Good understanding of REST API, AJAX, and JSON
• Knowledge of security, caching, and performance optimization techniques
• Experience with version control tools: Git / GitHub / Bitbucket
• Experience with Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), or similar frameworks is a plus
