About NATS Apprenticeship Program:

National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, is a program where Volvo India engages freshly graduated individuals for year-long apprenticeships, providing them with practical training and skills development opportunities within the company’s various functions under Financial Services. it's a way for Volvo to train future workforce members through a structured apprenticeship program.

Job Description:

• Perform advanced calculations and simulation on Powertrain components and systems.
• To be able to mesh components with required quality (tetra, shell).
• Virtually verify components/systems
• Work as a team-player with engineers in various teams and understand their requirements
• Support in automation of repetitive and error-prone activities
• To provide input to concept, component and system selection.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Mechanical Engineer
• Knowledge of Powertrain domain – Engines, Driveline (Axles, Gear boxes, etc.)
• Software skill required: Ansys APDL, ANSA, Python
• Strong commitment to deliver on time with consistent and strict adherence to quality.
• Ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach
• Excellent communication - Verbal, Non-Verbal & Written ability to articulate one’s thoughts
