We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test 1 (SDET 1) to join our dynamic team at Cloudsek. As an SDET 1, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cybersecurity products through the design and implementation of automated testing solutions.
Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and Pytest to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our cybersecurity products.

2. Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and other cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design effective test strategies.

3. Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to identify software defects and ensure high product quality.

4. Work closely with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.

5. Investigate, troubleshoot, and provide detailed bug reports for identified issues, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

6. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software testing and cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an SDET or in a similar role, with a focus on automated testing.

2. Strong programming skills in Python.

3. Experience with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium and Pytest.

4. Knowledge of API testing and familiarity with tools for testing APIs.

5. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with cloud platforms and services.

2. Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and practices.

3. Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
