Stipend: INR 15,000 per month

We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our engineering team at Buhay. This cross-border opportunity will involve collaborating with teams in both India and the Philippines, working on real-world fintech solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
 

• Assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve existing products and features
• Work with stakeholders across India and the Philippines to ensure seamless product development
• Participate in code reviews, debug issues, and ensure adherence to best practices
• Support integration of third-party APIs and internal tools
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and stand-ups
• Maintain documentation for software changes and processes
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and propose improvements
  
   

Requirements

Roles and Responsibilities:
 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• Proficiency in one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go)
• Familiarity with web development frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js, or Django)
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a cross-cultural, distributed team
