Job Description

National Apprentice Program is a Skill-Training program wherein a person is engaged by a company as an apprentice and gains theory learning for a short period, followed by on-the-job training. It is launched and funded by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to boost on-the-job training ecosystem in the country. About the Team:

 

S&P Global Mobility is seeking apprentices for 1 year period who are self-motivated and passionate about data and willingness to work with a geographically-dispersed large operations team. The Product Release Specialist (PRS) team works within the Global Data Operations (GDO) team. We are a liaison between the other groups within GDO as well as sales, product management, production, senior management, government relations and development. We are responsible for assuring that data impacts are evaluate, understood, and communicated across all teams so that business continuity is maintained.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work on visualization/reporting technologies, Scripting, and programming languages to produce one-time and cyclical deliverables for both internal and external clients.

  • Collaborate in the software development lifecycle including Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance.

  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.

  • Identify process improvements within products and work to automate existing processes.

  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products or deliverables to meet customer needs.

  • Anticipates product or deliverable release problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments.

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured use cases.

  • Identify, record, and document thoroughly.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Freshers (2024 graduates or post-graduates preferred) from B.Tech/M.Tech - Computer Science Engineering.

  • Course knowledge of Data Management, analytics, business intelligence, consulting, and/or strategy building.

  • Knowledge in data visualization software, preferably Tableau.

  • Knowledge in scripting language (e.g., Python, UNIX) & SQL/PLSQL insights along with a solid understanding of relational databases.

  • Problem-solving, self-motivation, and a drive for learning.

  • Ability to work with a diverse team.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
