Infoedge, through Naukri Campus, is conducting a multi-round hiring challenge for 2026 B.Tech students seeking Software Development Engineer in Test positions. This structured selection process is designed to identify top talent from engineering institutions.

Successful candidates will be presented with an opportunity to interview with Info Edge for the role of Software Development Engineer in Test

The hiring challenge consists of following rounds:

1. Online Assessments

This will be 120 minutes test comprising of MCQ + Coding based question

Requirement

• Laptop or Desktop with Webcam access
• High speed internet connectivity

2. Technical and HR Interview at Infoedge Office in Noida

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for new and existing features.
• Work closely with software developers and product managers to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and debug issues.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies and testing methodologies.

Required Skills

• Strong programming fundamentals in at least one object-oriented programming language like Java, Python, C++, or C#.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (like Agile & waterfall)
• Knowledge regarding different kinds of software testing
• Familiarity with version control systems like GIT.
• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork ability.
• Ability to leverage generative AI tools to enhance productivity, such as generating test cases, optimizing code, or assisting with documentation

Desired skills

• Knowledge of software testing concepts and test automation principles.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Basic understanding of databases and CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman
