Job Description
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Perform laboratory testing
- Adjust and calibrate the instrument
- Research new method
- Design experiments
- Lead improvement initiatives
- Gather estimates of the cost of production
- Test and monitor the performance of processes throughout production
- Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes
- Conduct analysis and prepare reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- Some related experience
- An understanding of engineering principles and mathematics
- An aptitude for, and interest in chemistry
- Project management skill
- Resource management skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- The ability to work as part of a team
