About the Team

Team: 

At Nutanix Cloud Manager, we are trying to build the next generation platform to help enterprises model, develop and manage applications. We want to give them the ability to encapsulate not only infrastructure but even the application – its architecture and deployment “as code”.

About the Hiring Manager:

• You will be reporting to Senior Manger Devops R&D-NCM Self Service. 
• Has been in the team for the past 2.5 years. Has industry experience in DevOps, Automation, and Big Data.

How We Work:

Your Role

· CI/CD Pipeline

• Architect & implement Jenkins pipeline and automation.
• Must demonstrate good analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot and fix build.
• Resolve pipeline issues.
• Strong understanding of SCM, branching, build and the release process

· Engineer Productivity

• Design and build tooling and infrastructure to help improve engineering productivity.
• Manage Source code version control systems (Git based).
• Implement and maintain reproducible builds.

· SecOps

• Highly skilled in monitoring and assessing risk and protecting resources, often operating from a security operations center, or SOC.
• Highly skilled in reviewing security standards and taking initiatives for compliance.

· IaC

• Strong skills & experience in managing and provisioning IT infrastructure automatically through code without relying on manual processes.
• Experience in tools/platforms like Terraform & Ansible is an added advantage.

What You Will Bring

• Familiarity with Operating System, networking, and Jenkins
• Understanding of how the Cloud based services and permissions work (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare, and Nutanix)
• Understanding of security and the role that it places in CI/CD.
• Familiarity with languages like Groovy, Python, and GO. Also, Bash scripting.
