Align Technology is looking for high-potential Software Engineers as part of the growing customer-facing application team. In this role, you will… 

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies like daily stand-ups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Participate in design sessions and architectural discussions.
• Participate in developing and maintaining front (JavaScript) or backend (Java/Ruby) code.
• Document the technical changes in the proper format.
• Follow the SDLC in Align and support the deployment and validation of the changes.
• Collaborate with the SQA team to verify the changes and debug the issues.
• Collaborate with the support team to understand the issue and contribute to the problem resolution.
• Communicate with project stakeholders and business owners to ensure the high quality of our products.
• Ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives and deadlines assigned to the team.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources. 

In this role, you’ll need … 

• BS/MS degree of Computer Science and Software Engineering or equivalent
• Good understanding of SDLC.
• Good understanding of one programming language. (Java, Python)
• Good understanding of one of the mainstream relational databases and SQL.
• Great attitude, and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, and prioritization skills.
• Passion for improvements, innovation, and optimization.
