Why Mindbun Exists:

We strongly feel mental healthcare in India is broken.

We have heard countless customer stories of people trying a few therapy sessions, having bad experiences, and giving up on therapy entirely.

This made us believe - we don't need more therapy. We need good therapy.

Mindbun exists to solve this problem for Indian users, worldwide.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an Engineering Intern who can work across the stack, think through product
problems, and take ownership of what they build.

You’ll work across client-facing products and the internal systems that run Mindbun – payments,
scheduling, communications, operational workflows, and new product experiences.

Our stack today includes Python/Django, PostgreSQL, React/Next.js, TypeScript, Docker and
AWS. You don’t need to know this exact stack, but you should have good programming fundamentals and be comfortable learning unfamiliar things.

We’re still early, so problems won’t always arrive as neatly written tickets. We’ll spend time together understanding problems, discussing possible approaches, and figuring out what makes sense to build. From there, we’d expect you to take ownership of the implementation, ask questions when needed, and keep things moving.

You’ll start with smaller problems and features and gradually take on more ownership as you get
familiar with the product.

You might be a good fit if you

• Have built a few real, working products or side projects that you can show us.
• Have strong programming fundamentals and are good at learning, researching, and figuring
  things out on your own.
• Are interested in working across frontend and backend rather than staying within one narrow
  area.
• Care about the product and user experience, not just the code.
• Take initiative, keep things moving, and don’t need constant direction.
• Communicate well and are comfortable discussing problems and ideas with teammates.
• Use AI thoughtfully – knowing when it helps, while still understanding and questioning what it
  produces.

You could be a final-year student, a recent graduate, or someone very early in your career. We care much more about what you’ve actually built and how you think than about years of experience.

   particularly well or poorly, and why.
5. Outside of college or work, what’s something technical you’ve spent time building, learning, or experimenting with just because you were interested in it?

For the product questions, we’re less interested in general opinions and more interested in what
you’ve personally noticed from using the product yourself.

There is no prescribed format for the video. Use your judgment about what is worth telling us.
