Job Description

About the Opportunity:

  • Join as a Sales Intern to drive growth for PSJ Capital - a leading wealth and stock broking firm (Motilal Oswal Channel Partner) offering free Demat + Trading accounts, mutual funds (MF), equity trading, and financial planning services
  • This is a real-world sales role where you'll build your network, learn financial product selling, and earn directly based on results
  • Ideal for students passionate about finance, sales, and building a career in wealth management/broking

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively source and generate leads from your college network, friends, juniors, family, social circles, and personal contacts to open Motilal Oswal Demat accounts (free online process, paperless in ~15 mins)
  • Guide prospects through the simple Demat + Trading account opening (using Motilal Oswal's official app/website link; assist with KYC, document upload, and e-sign via Aadhaar)
  • Follow up with opened account clients to convert them into active investors/traders (encourage initial investments in equities, mutual funds, or other products)
  • Conduct informal/virtual Mutual Funds (MF) sessions and basic Financial Planning discussions to educate clients on investment options, risk profiling, and long-term wealth building
  • Maintain daily/weekly targets for lead generation, account openings, and client activations
  • Report progress, leads, and closures via shared tools (Google Sheets/CRM)

Requirements/Who Should Apply:

  • Current college students (undergraduate/postgraduate) from any stream – preferably Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, or related fields
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills (Hindi + English; regional languages a plus)
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with sales outreach (cold/warm calling, WhatsApp, social media, in-person networking)
  • Basic interest/knowledge in stock market, mutual funds, demat accounts, or investments (training provided on Motilal Oswal products)
  • Access to smartphone/laptop + internet for virtual sessions and follow-ups
  • No prior experience required – enthusiasm for sales and finance is key
  • Ability to dedicate 15-25 hours/week (flexible around college schedule)
