SRE engineers are responsible for monitoring the availability and performance of our production environment with improved efficiency and reliability of our Saas services with optimal capacity planning of our cloud infrastructure which is 100% hosted on AWS. They are also responsible for incident management including emergency responses and making necessary changes to ensure issues are mitigated on time and with quality.

The team works closely with DevOps, InfoSec & Engineering teams and ensure the root cause analysis is done on all issues with preventive actions being executed and well documented. They also get to work with best-in-class tools like NewRelic, SumoLogic, Grafana, Loggly, PagerDuty, Site24x7, FreshServices, Kibana, AKAMA etc along with AWS services like RDS, ESS, ELK, ECS, EC2, VPCs, Redis, Lambda etc. You will not just be Monitoring but improving Observability.

Key Responsibilities:

• ·SRE engineers are responsible for monitoring the availability and performance of our production environment with improved efficiency and reliability of our SaaS services with optimal capacity planning of our cloud infrastructure which is 100% hosted on AWS.
• ·They are also responsible for incident management including emergency responses and making necessary changes to ensure issues are mitigated on time and with quality.
• ·Track incidents and ensures the root cause analysis is done on all issues with preventive actions being executed and well documented.
• ·Occasionally work with customers to address their concerns on infrastructure availability and performance.
• ·Contribute and/or build processes and platforms to ensure full observability and automated incident response management of all systems, applications, platforms, and infrastructure.
• ·The team works closely with DevOps, InfoSec & Engineering teams to improve the performance, reliability, and operability of various applications and services.
• ·They also get to work with best-in-class tools like NewRelic, Grafana, Loggly, PagerDuty, Site24x7, FreshService, Kibana, AKAMAI etc along with AWS services like RDS, ESS, ECS, EC2, VPCs, Redis, Lambda, etc.
• ·Improve Observability along with Monitoring.

Key Requirements:

• ·Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0-1 years of experience in SRE role on cloud-based applications (preferably AWS) including but not limited to above key responsibilities.
• ·Hands on experience in observability, monitoring, alerts management, incidents management, and RCA management across major AWS services – EC2, RDS, Elasticsearch, Redis, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, etc and monitoring tools.
• ·monitoring multi-tenant SaaS environment including web applications, database services, APIs, and backend jobs setup.
• ·handling live production incidents, debug/troubleshoot application, and infrastructure issues, and follow and implement SRE best practices.
• ·Gather and analyse performance metrics from OS and applications.
• ·Very disciplined with exceptional documentation skills and strong interpersonal communication skills (including listening, speaking, and writing).
• ·A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks.  
• ·Ability to program in one or more languages like Python and certification in AWS/ITIL is a plus.
• ·Ability to create & work well in a diverse, team-focused environment with other DevOps and engineering teams.
• ·Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
