Purpose of the Role

To help build the Peak AI Applications - a new system of intelligence that allows companies to quickly harness the power of AI

What you'll do at UiPath

• You will work as part of a team to design, build and maintain our AI applications and AI tooling. You'll see your work deployed and used in our applications and engaged with directly by both our internal SME team, as well as across our diverse customer base.

• Your feedback will help shape the future of the Peak platform. There's also huge potential to tailor your role to your preferred career path as the team grows, especially within our key domains of inventory and pricing.

• You’ll bring strong enthusiasm for building scalable applications and platforms, along with a keen interest in advancing your software engineering expertise, reliability practices, and product development skills to consistently meet SLAs and deliver long-term business value.

• Your work will require you to be equally comfortable in actively collaborating with other Engineers, Product Managers and assorted stakeholders, as well as in carrying out independent technical research tasks.

• You'll bring empathy for the users of your tools and solutions and be able to communicate articulately with your users too.

• You'll be excited by the prospect of building Scalable self serve software products for our customers to love and depend on.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Strong expertise in Python with hands-on experience using frameworks such as FastAPI (for APIs), Dash (for interactive AI applications) and ORMs (for database interaction)

• Practical experience with data and analytics tooling, using tools like Great Expectations for data validation and dbt for data transformations.

• Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with common relational or NoSQL databases.

• Exposure to major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with an understanding of deploying and scaling AI-driven applications.

• Ability to write clean, tested, and maintainable code using engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, peer reviews, and modular design.

• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver customer-centric AI applications.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies in the AI application space, continually growing your technical skills.

• Experience in mentoring peers or juniors, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

• Exposure to React or other modern front-end frameworks is a plus.
