About TCS Atlas Hiring – Batch of 2026

Application Process :

Step 1. Logon to the TCS NextStep Portal  Opens in new tab

Step 2. Register and Apply for the Drive

• Scenario A. If you are already a registered user in the TCS NextStep Portal, 'IT’ category, kindly login with your TCS Reference ID (CT/DT reference number) and proceed to complete the Application Form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply for Drive’.
• Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as “IT” and proceed to fill your details. Submit your Application Form and click on 'Apply for Drive'.

Step 3. Select your mode of test (In-Centre) and choose your preferred test center & then click on Apply.

Step 4. To confirm your status, check "Track Your Application". The status should reflect as "Applied For Drive".

Important Note :

• This is an In-center test and center allotment would be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
• You must have all your original academic documents till date, to be submitted at the time of the Interview (if test shortlisted).
• Communication related to the test will be informed to you by TCS iON – our test partner.
• TCS does not send job offers/any hiring related communication from unofficial email IDs like Gmail, Rediffmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail etc.
• TCS does not ask candidates to deposit any money for employment offer.
• TCS is not associated with any external agency/company to conduct any interviews or make offers of employment on its behalf.
• Kindly note that we have stringent eligibility criteria and a robust selection process. Your eligibility as per the defined criteria will be checked at various stages of the selection process. Test Eligibility

Academic Percentage: Candidates should have a minimum aggregate (All subjects in all semesters) of 60% or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and Post-Graduation examination.

Highest Qualification: Candidates pursuing 2 years full-time Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Arts (M.A.) program with specializations in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics from a recognized university or college, and belonging to the batch of 2026, will be considered.

Graduation Background: Any graduate degree from a recognized University/College would be considered as eligible.

Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: Candidate having up to one backlog may appear for the selection process. However, it is mandatory that the course is completed within the stipulated time duration without any backlogs at the time of joining TCS, if selected.

Extended education would not be considered as eligible.

Gap/Break in Education: It is mandatory to declare gaps in education, if any. Overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification. Relevant documentation, as applicable, will be checked for gaps in education.

Course Types: Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time/correspondence courses will not be considered).

Open Schooling: Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the Graduation and Post-graduation (if applicable) courses are done full-time.

Work Experience: Candidates with prior work experience (part-time/full-time) of only up to 2 years are eligible to apply for the TCS Atlas Hiring Process. It is mandatory for Candidates to declare the same in the TCS Application Form. Candidates would be required to submit the necessary documents supporting this work experience at the time of TCS selection process and/or post joining TCS, as per requirements.

Age: Minimum age – 18 years and maximum age – 28 years.

Test Pattern

• Test provider: TCS iON is the test provider for TCS Atlas Hiring process.
• Test Pattern: The duration of the Assessment is 115 mins and is split into 5 sections mentioned below:
• Statistics
• Mathematics
• Economics
• Programming
• Verbal Ability
