Job Description

At AISense, we prototype, iterate, and deploy—not endless slide decks. We fuse agricultural field intelligence with solid engineering to build devices that work outdoors, every day. We’re researchers at heart and builders at the core.
Are you an electronics builder who lives for real prototypes—ESP32/STM32, analog + power, PCB design/soldering, and clean, well-documented code?
If you can show working boards, Gerbers/schematics, and demo videos, we’d love to meet you.

Roles:

  • Build field-ready agri/wildlife IoT devices; researchers at heart, builders at the core.
  • Portfolio-first culture: working boards, schematics/Gerbers, and short demo videos.

Responsibility:

  • Develop & test embedded systems on Raspberry Pi, ARM (STM32), ESP32.
  • Design schematics + 2-layer PCBs (KiCad/Altium), create BOMs, review for DFM/EMI/ESD.
  • Assemble, solder, rework, and bench-test prototypes; document photos, power budgets, short demo videos.
  • Write/optimize Embedded C/C++ & Python (drivers, test utilities, logging).
  • Collaborate with ML/AI team to integrate CV outputs into embedded control/telemetry.
  • Use Autodesk Fusion 360 / SolidWorks for enclosures and mounts.
  • Translate on-ground farming needs into rapid prototypes and field-tested iterations.
  • Drone/UGV: configure RC links, ESC/BLDC, power distribution; validate GPS/IMU; tune PID/telemetry for safe, stable flight.
  • Solar: pick panel + battery + charge controller, set sleep/wake strategy; prove day/night uptime in real fields.

Requirements:

  • Portfolio (mandatory): links to GitHub, project demo videos, and schematics/PCB layout/assembled boardimages or PDFs.
  • Hands-on proof: BOMs, test logs, power-budget measurements (sleep/active current), scope/logic-analyzer screenshots.
  • Core skills: ESP32/STM32, Embedded C/C++, Python, KiCad/Altium, UART/I²C/SPI, analog & power basics, PCB assembly/rework, Raspberry Pi.
  • Nice-to-have: Fusion 360/SolidWorks, LoRa/BLE/Wi-Fi bring-up, antenna placement basics, drones/UGVs, solar/MPPT, RTOS/state machines.
  • Hackathon/paid work: SIH/e-Yantra/Robocon podiums or paid project portfolio (Upwork/Fiverr, etc.) is a strong plus.
  • Availability: start between 20 Oct ’25 – 24 Nov ’25; 4-month internship.
  • Location preference (for lab/logistics): Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai.
  • Mindset: self-driven, documents clearly, iterates fast from field feedback, follows basic safety practices (bench & flight).
