Job Description:

Poshmark is seeking an iOS Engineer Intern. We are a rapidly growing multiplatform social fashion marketplace focused on creating innovative, delightful, and seamless mobile experiences for our users. As part of the iOS team, you’ll work on developing new features, improving app performance, and enhancing the overall user experience for millions of Poshers worldwide.

The role will be dynamic and hands-on — perfect for a self-starter who enjoys solving complex problems and learning through real-world applications. Over the course of the internship, you’ll gain exposure to our tech stack, contribute to features that may run in production, and learn best practices in mobile development from experienced engineers.

What You’ll Be Potentially Doing:

• Develop and implement new features that enhance the Poshmark iOS app experience.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.

• Learn to write clean, efficient, and maintainable Swift code following industry best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and standards.

• Debug and optimize app performance for better stability and responsiveness.

• Build development stack, programming, and software design skills specific to mobile engineering.

Ideal Candidate:

• Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.

• Familiarity with Swift and Xcode development environment.

• Understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and Foundation.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into mobile applications.

• Exposure to version control systems (Git) and mobile app debugging tools.

A passion for building intuitive, beautiful, and high-performance mobile applications.
