At Even, we believe in a better approach to healthcare—one that covers everything, including preventive care, not just treatments. By managing the entire care journey ourselves, we make healthcare more accessible and affordable than traditional insurance.

Our small tech team has built multiple platforms from scratch, including an in-house EHR, UPI payment systems, and other healthcare tools. With a wide scope and a lean team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects right from the start.

What You’ll Do

• Build backend systems for a variety of healthcare and insurance use cases.
• Create tools to support doctors and hospitals, such as telemedicine platforms, hospital portals, and booking systems.
• Develop internal tools that enhance team productivity.
• Contribute to AI/ML use cases like risk engines and medical & sales chat bots on WhatsApp.
• Work on integrations with external partners (e.g. labs, hospitals, payment gateways, banks, and KYC systems).

What We Look For

• Programming Experience — whether through competitive coding, hackathons, college groups, or personal projects.
• Strong interest in backend technologies and distributed systems.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to critical consumer facing products in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with Go or other strongly-typed languages like C++.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures or cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Firebase).
• Some exposure to data engineering or an interest in machine learning.
