As a C++ Intern (Fresher), you will be part of the core engineering team responsible for building and maintaining high-performance components of our proprietary trading platform. You will work closely with senior developers, quantitative researchers, and traders to develop latency-sensitive systems used for order execution, market data processing, and strategy integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain components of a high-performance, multithreaded C++ trading system.
• Write low-latency, memory-efficient, and reliable code targeting Linux-based environments.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance benchmarking.
• Collaborate with trading and research teams to understand system requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Investigate production issues and contribute to continuous system improvements.
• Assist in building tools for performance monitoring, logging, and debugging.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline from a top-tier institute.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer architecture.
• Experience or strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
• Good understanding of Linux operating systems, internals, and system tools.
• Familiarity with socket programming (TCP/UDP) and inter-process communication.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for automation and system tasks.
• Exposure to Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix development environment.
