What You’ll Be Doing

As an Junior SDET in Betterworks, you will be required to,

• Identify risks and evaluate information about the quality of the product over releases.

• Designing and writing test cases.

• Support automation of test cases using Cypress.io and help connect test suites to our CI/CD pipeline ensuring continuous quality assurance.

• Help define and implement quality metrics and record QA artifacts.

• Review solutions implemented by developers and identify issues in them before implementation. 

• Assist in planning and executing testing cycles, setting up test data, and providing quality reports.

What’ll Help You Be Successful

• 0-1 years of experience in QA and automation 

• Strong foundational understanding of manual testing processes.

• Basic understanding of debugging web applications.

• Basic working knowledge of REST APIs, databases, sessions, and tokens.

• Familiarity with Scrum framework and Agile practices.

• Strong initiative and self-motivation.

• Proven track record of attention to detail and proactive expectation management.

• Performance and security testing expertise

• Exposure to automation tools like Cypress.io or Selenium (e.g., through personal projects, coursework, or internships).

• Experience in defining and/or implementing test strategies
