Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product manager, developers, and QA leads to understand product features and requirements
• Assist in designing and implementing automated test suites for Web, Windows, API or Mobile applications
• Execute manual and automated test cases and document results
• Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track software defects
• Participate in test planning and test case development
• Learn and apply testing methodologies and best practices like code reviews, agile methodologies, and STLC processes
• Help maintain test environments and configurations
• Assist with regression testing during development cycles
• Document testing procedures and create user guides when needed

Education & Academic Background:

• Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Basic Programming Concepts, Knowledge of OOP, Software Testing Fundamentals, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Version Control Systems (Git)

Programming Languages & Technical Skills

• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and principles
• Familiarity with cloud technology concepts, operating systems such as Linux and Windows

Testing-Specific Knowledge (Good to have):

• Familiarity with software test techniques and strategy
• Experience with test-driven development concepts
• Understanding of different types of testing (unit, integration, system, regression)
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify edge cases and inconsistencies during testing.
• Think Critically About Software Quality: Ability to ask "what if" questions to find weaknesses in software.
