As a SDET (Intern) at ALLEN Digital, you'll support the development of automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications. You'll collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure product quality through functional, regression, and API testing. The role involves writing and executing test cases using tools like Selenium or Appium. It’s a hands-on opportunity to learn software testing in a fast-paced edtech environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for API and contract testing.
• Collaborate with software engineers to understand system architecture and integration points.
• Utilize API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar for validating API endpoints.
• Implement contract testing using frameworks like Pact to ensure service interactions are functioning as expected.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Monitor and analyze test results, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

What we are looking for:

• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
• Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Postman is a plus.
• Willingness to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Good communication and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
