We are looking for a Front-end engineer with knowledge and skills in building highly interactive interfaces using modern JavaScript tooling like React, Angular, Thyme Leaf, JQuery, etc. We want someone who can work well in a heterogeneous environment of different languages and technologies, and can bring flexibility, speed and quality to our team. You should be genuinely excited about technology, have interest in learning about and playing with the latest technologies and building compelling web applications and UI.
A successful candidate will bring deep technical and software expertise and ability to work within a fast moving, startup environment in a large company to deliver solid code that has a broad business impact. You use your knowledge of the UX space to improve design and engineering processes and to build, create, and deliver the right experience for customers. Key job responsibilities
Basic qualifications
* Experience with front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Thyme Leaf, JQuery, etc.
* Ability to articulate the benefits and challenges of depending on front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets
* Experience building scalable, distributed, front-end experiences
* Experience building reusable UX components or libraries
* Proficient in common UX patterns.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.
Preferred qualifications
* Ability to evaluate the risks and benefits of using front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets for a given problem space
* Ability to deal with ambiguity
* Proficiency in testing front-end applications and automated browser testing
* Have interest in learning about latest technologies and building compelling web applications and UI
- Are enrolled in a Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals (e.g., data structures & algorithms, OO design)
