Title: Intern - Data Governance & Reporting

Introduction:

Serve as the focal point for analyzing enterprise supply plan and revenue analytics within GlobalFoundries  in the tactical horizon. Require interface and closely collaborate with GlobalFoundries Finance, Sales and Marketing, Fab Operations, Strategic Business Unit and  Supply chain partners to roll up weekly supply plan/ revenue outlook/playbook analytics and key performance indices.

 

As a Supply Chain Reporting and Data Governance intern, the candidate expected to assist Reporting Leads & Data Steward Leads in maintaining, monitoring Supply chain reports, Supplier & Material Master data. Expected to support transformation project activities related to Supply Chain Data.

 

Your Job:

  • Engage in Supplier and Material Data governance activities within the supply chain domain.
  • Collaborate with data stewards on process design, documentation, and the development of global standards and business rules.
  • Perform hands-on stewardship tasks to assess, cleanse, normalize, and conform data to meet business requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify gaps in quality using defined standards.
  • Participate in Reporting & Data Analytics activities, supporting problem-solving and continuous improvement through data mining.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and analytics, developing algorithms to enhance efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively across various teams and contribute to problem-solving and lean manufacturing methodologies.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors from Electronics , Instrumentation,  or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of Semiconductor processing technology & devices will be desirable.
  • Hands on experience in Microsoft office tools is a requirement.
  • Reporting & analytical skills/knowledge through PowerBI is preferred.
  • Python intermediate skills
  • Working knowledge of Business intelligence(BI) tools is desired.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with global teams is a requirement.
  • Candidate should be organized, proactive, committed and have excellent analytical skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of data management and governance practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data mining.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication skills.
