👋 Hey, future backend wizard!

We’re looking for a Backend Developer Intern to join our team and help us build some really cool stuff behind the scenes. This isn’t a “just push some tickets” role. You’ll work on real features, live systems, and production-grade code from day one — with the guidance you need to grow fast.

If you’ve built side projects, fiddled with APIs, or love breaking and fixing things until they’re fast and clean — we’d love to meet you.

🛠️ What You’ll Actually Be Doing
 

• Designing and building backend services (mostly in Go / Python / Node, depending on what you’re comfortable with)
• Writing REST/gRPC APIs and connecting the dots between databases and frontend
• Optimizing queries, structuring databases (we use PostgreSQL mostly), and keeping things fast
• Working closely with the core team — product, frontend, design — and shipping features that go live
• Participating in code reviews and learning how to write clean, reliable code that scales
• Bonus: if you’re curious about Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud stuff, there’s room to explore too
   

🧠 You should probably have
 

• Decent knowledge of backend basics — how servers work, APIs, databases, etc.
• Some projects (even side projects) to show you’ve built things
• Understanding of Git, REST, and SQL
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to ask “why?” and “what if?”
• Hunger to learn fast and improve every week
   

💥 Extra brownie points for
 

• Go, Django, FastAPI, or Node.js experience
• Understanding of microservices or background jobs
• Contributions to open-source / public GitHub repos
• Curious about infra, deployment, observability — or anything beyond your comfort zone
