Join the Calix Web Engineering team as a Front-End Intern and contribute to building intuitive, performant digital experiences for Calix.com and MyCalix, enterprise-grade platforms powered by Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) on Adobe Cloud Service. These platforms integrate with Salesforce and Commerce Store, offering hands-on exposure to real-world development within a global web ecosystem.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop responsive, component-based UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React tailored for AEM-powered websites.

• Collaborate with designers and product teams to build user-centric experiences.

• Integrate front-end features with APIs and data sources from Salesforce and Commerce systems.

• Perform cross-browser testing and ensure accessibility compliance.

• Implement and validate analytics tracking and coordinate with data/analytics teams to ensure accurate data capture. (added advantage)

• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint deliverables, and code reviews.

• Document AEM component behavior and authoring guidelines for reusability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science / IT / related discipline, graduating in 2024/2025.

• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.

• Exposure to React.js or any modern front-end frameworks.

• Familiarity with Git and CMS platforms — exposure to AEM or tools like Liferay, Contentful, Drupal, WordPress is a plus.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Available to work full-time during the internship.
