About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework
2. Write clean, efficient, and testable backend code in Python
3. Work with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse to optimize database performance
4. Implement authentication, authorization, and data flow logic across services
5. Collaborate closely with senior engineers and contribute to real production code
6. Own features end-to-end: from database design to deployment
7. Contribute to frontend tasks in ReactJS when needed

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 1st May'25 and 5th Jun'25

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Computer Science undergrad degree (or equivalent experience); preferably from Tier 1 college

2. Prior internship or hands-on project experience in backend development preferred

3. Strong grip on Python and solid understanding of backend principles

4. Familiarity with Django, Django Rest Framework, and API architecture

5. Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL); ClickHouse is a bonus

6. Exposure to or interest in performance tuning, query optimization, and scalability

7. Passion for learning and solving real-world backend problems

8. Good communication skills and an independent, proactive work style
