Internship Project Details
 

• The intern will be responsible for building an Ionic framework mobile application that works with maps and consumes backend APIs.
• The intern will be responsible for setting up the test, CI/CD pipelines and the management of the app deployment on Playstore.
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to create interactive, geospatially enabled features, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
   

Job Description

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
 

• Developing Mobile App Features
• Implement new functionalities using React and Ionic, ensuring performance and usability on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Working with Mapping Libraries
• Integrate and customize mapping solutions, displaying geospatial data and interactive elements for users.
• Backend Integration
• Consume and integrate backend APIs for data retrieval, user authentication, and other application functionalities, ensuring smooth data flow and error handling.
• Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate requirements into efficient, maintainable code.
• Deployment & Store Management
• Deploy the mobile application to the Google Play Store, and manage updates, reviews, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal user experience.
   

Relevant Experience & Skills
 

• Proficiency in JavaScript and React Native with a solid understanding of mobile development principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and handling JSON data for mobile applications.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize mobile applications.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and collaborate within a team.
