Job Description

Join us for an exciting 6-month SDE Traineeship at Meesho. As a Trainee, you will receive a monthly stipend of INR 1,00,000 while gaining hands-on experience in software development. Our office location is in Bengaluru and this role expects you to mandatorily work out of office for stipulated 3 days in a week.

Based on the performance during the Trainee role at Meesho, successful candidates will be considered for a full-time opportunity (FTE). The FTE salary offered will be INR 20,00,000 p.a. fixed + Benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to develop new features for Meesho customers and suppliers
• Leverage state-of-the-art technologies and write highly performant code
• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from ideation to production 

Technical Requirements:

• 0-1 years of experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms, and their space & time complexities
• Strong hands-on and practical working experience with at least one programming language: Java/Python/Javascript
• Excellent coding skills — should be able to convert design into code fluently.

Eligibility Criteria

1. This opportunity is exclusively for the B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech candidates from Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, ECE, EEE and E&I streams and MCA candidates from the graduation batch of 2024 and 2025. 

2. Applicants must have no active backlogs at the time of applying.

3. The application portal will be open only for a limited timeframe – please refer to the timelines below.

4. Selected candidates must be willing to relocate to Bengaluru for the entire duration of the Trainee program.

5. For the eligible students from 2025 batch:

   • Date of joining post selection would be immediate. Your current educational institution must provide permission for a full-time traineeship, with an exemption from regular academic commitments.

   • You must not have participated in the Meesho on-campus recruitment process in the last 6 months.

   For the eligible students from 2024 batch: 

   • If selected, you would be required to join at the earliest.

   • You must not have participated in any Meesho lateral hiring process in the last 6 months.
