Job Description

You will be a part of Molex – DDP

What You Will Do

  • Operate primary CAD systems such as NX or SolidWorks or Creo (Basic to intermediate skill)
  • Develop appropriate design risk mitigations and test strategies using dFMEA & pFMEA
  • Develop appropriate assembly and test fixtures to aid in the manufacture and testing of the design.
  • Develop appropriate drawings to detail part and assembly specifications in a manner compliant with ASME Y14.5 & ISO 1101 or other design standards
  • Generate Engineering Change Orders to document design changes and customer approval.
  • Set up and Perform engineering test for component verification against mechanical specification.
  • Selection of material for plastic, metal, elastomeric parts that are interacting with the drug
  • Other duties as assigned.                    

 Who You Are

·       BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Design or Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics

·       Good academic score from tier 2 institutions

·       Familiar with GD&T application

·       Ability to generate complex solid & surface 3D CAD models & 2D drawings

·       Familiar with various materials

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Demonstrates strong ability to evaluate and recommend appropriate prototyping processes (i.e. SLA, printed, machined, molded)

·       Maintains and respects customer, project, and program confidentiality

·       Motivated self-starter who is able to manage multiple tasks
