POSTION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The incumbent will be responsible for scoping, implementation, testing, and systems integration of software components for NCR's financial devices.

Development involves the following system areas:

• Financial devices' components (Card readers, Printers, Displays etc)
• Systems Diagnostics and utilities
• Test software.
• To be exposed & required to gain expertise in different OEM's system software.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors/Masters in Computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Experience in C, C++, Win32, COM/ActiveX and runtime Libraries and APIs
• experience/knowledge in serial/USB communication in Windows .
• Hands on with IDEs like Visual Studio & experience developing for Windows 7/10.
• Experience/exposure to version control tools- SVN, GIT etc.
• ability to work effectively in a team composed of peers and cross-functional members is very important as is the ability to be focused and be a self-starter.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge in multi-thread COM development.

Experience in Object Oriented Design and Analysis.
