About TCS MBA Hiring - Batch of 2025

Eligibility: Exclusively for Management Postgraduates from the batch of 2025 from any of the qualification and specializations mentioned below:

2 years full-time MBA/MMS/PGDBA/PGDM course with specializations in Marketing/Finance/ Operations/Supply Chain Management/Information Technology/General Management/Business Analytics/Project Management/Human Resources and related disciplines offered by a recognized University/College.

Application Process:

Step 1. Logon to the TCS Next Step Portal  Opens in new tab

Step 2. Register and Apply for the Drive

• Scenario A. If you are already a registered user in the TCS NextStep Portal, 'IT’ category, kindly login with your TCS Reference ID (CT/DT reference number) and proceed to complete the Application Form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’.
• Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as “IT” and proceed to fill your details. Submit your Application Form and click on 'Apply For Drive'.

Step 3. Select your mode of test (In-Centre) and choose your preferred test center & then click on Apply.

Step 4. To confirm your status, check "Track Your Application". The status should reflect as "Applied For Drive".

IMPORTANT NOTE:

• This is an In-center test and center allotment would be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
• You must have all your original academic documents till date, to be submitted at the time of the Interview (if test shortlisted).
• Communication related to the test will be informed to you by TCS iON – our test partner.
• TCS does not send job offers/any hiring related communication from unofficial email IDs like Gmail, Rediffmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail etc.
• TCS does not ask candidates to deposit any money for employment offer.
• TCS is not associated with any external agency/company to conduct any interviews or make offers of employment on its behalf.
• Kindly note that we have stringent eligibility criteria and a robust selection process. Your eligibility as per the defined criteria will be checked at various stages of the selection process. At any point of time if you are found ineligible, or data shared by you is found discrepant/misrepresented, your candidature may be disqualified.

Test Eligibility

• Academic Percentage: Candidates should have a minimum aggregate (All subjects in all semesters) of 60% or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and Post-Graduation.
• Highest Qualification: Candidates pursuing 2 year full-time Management Post-Graduate courses (MBA/MMS/PGDBA/PGDM) offered by a recognized University with specializations in Marketing/Finance/Operations/Supply Chain Management/Information Technology/General Management/Business Analytics/Project Management or related disciplines offered by recognized University/College from the batch of 2025 will be considered as eligible. If selected, the offer will be valid only if the degree / provisional degree certificate clearly states that the student has cleared the highest qualification in 'FIRST CLASS' post completion of the course.

Any full time graduate degree from a recognized University/College would be considered as eligible.

• Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: Candidate having up to 1 backlog may appear for the selection process. However, if offered, all backlogs should be cleared by the candidate within the stipulated course duration.
• Extended Education: No extended education would be allowed. Candidates should have completed the course in the stipulated course duration.
• Gap/Break in Education: It is mandatory to declare gaps in education, if any. Overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until highest qualification. Relevant documents, as applicable, will be checked for gaps in education.
• Course Types: Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time/correspondence courses will not be considered).
• Open Schooling: Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the Graduation and Post-graduation (if applicable) courses are done full-time. 
• Work Experience: Candidates with prior work experience (part-time/full-time) of only up to 2 years are eligible to apply for the TCS MBA Hiring Process. It is mandatory for Candidates to declare the same in the TCS Application Form. Candidates would be required to submit the necessary documents supporting the declared work experience at the time of TCS selection process and/or post joining TCS, as per requirements.
• Age: Minimum age – 18 years and maximum age – 28 years.

Test Pattern

• Test provider: TCS iON is the test provider for TCS MBA Hiring process.

• Test Pattern: The duration of the Assessment is 90 mins and is split into 3 sections mentioned below: 

  • Verbal Ability 

  • Numerical Ability  

  • Business Aptitude
