Role: Software Development Intern- Android

Job Location: New Delhi (East of Kailash)

Internship Duration: 6 Months

Mandatory: Personal Laptop and NOC from University

Year of Graduation: 2026 Graduates Only

Responsibilities:

• Learn and implement new features and functionalities for Rooter’s Android application under the guidance of senior developers
• Collaborate with the team to conduct thorough testing and debugging of Android applications to ensure high-quality and bug-free code
• Participate in code reviews to learn and improve coding practices and standards
• Research and stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to ensure smooth integration and optimal user experience
• Contribute to the documentation of Android application development processes and guidelines
• Work closely with senior developers to identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Currently in the final year of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Familiarity with Java/Kotlin programming languages
• Passion for mobile application development and a desire to learn and grow in the field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Availability to work from office during the internship period

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Android development frameworks, such as Android Studio and Gradle
• Familiarity with git version control systems
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and Material Design guidelines
• Basic understanding of agile development methodologies
