As a software development engineering intern, you will join Autodesk Fusion360 development team responsible for empowering global customers by contributing to deliver quality solutions. The main goal of the project is to improve the stability and usability of Fusion360.

Fusion 360 is Autodesk’s modern innovative CAD, CAM, and CAE tool. It connects the entire product development process in a single cloud-based platform that works on both Windows and Mac platforms. 

Responsibilities

• Prototype and do Proof of Concept for new ideas/workflows

• Fix critical reported issues under experts guidance.

• Do detailed efficiency studies of some workflows in the product and work towards improving it.

• Follow agile methodologies and participate in the complete software development life cycle, from design to testing and deployment

• Ensure the performance and reliability of applications through debugging, testing, and optimisation.

• Identify opportunities for codebase enhancement, and adhere to coding best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors / Masters in Electronics Or Computer Engineering

• Good programming in C++ and familiarity with Object-Oriented Design and Analysis

• Good understanding of UI Programming concepts. Familiarity with QT would be a plus • Good understanding of Data Structures

• Good understanding of Computer Science principles (pre-processing, compiling, linking, profiling, etc.) as applied to Software Product Development

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CAD tools, geometry, and Mathematics.

• Someone who enjoys working collaboratively in a team with high trust

• Excited to understand CAD and Fusion360 users and workflows, to enhance usability

• Excellent ability to learn, adapt and deliver

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
