We're looking for a React Native developer to support our product development, help us mature our platforms and continue to provide a great user experience.

You'll be tasked with supporting our mobile app growth by adding new features and functionality to Orbit Wallet as well as helping us make the platform more robust, well tested and developing tools for automation.

You'll work closely with the CTO and product designers. We’ve got some interesting projects over the coming months that include:

• Integrating fastags into our platform
• Integrating with event ticketing/organising platforms for offline access and payments
• Integrating access for universities with a numberless orbit card

How we work

Our product and engineering teams work in an agile way using the scrum framework. You’ll be involved from early product discussions, through to architecture planning, ticket creation and implementation.

Requirements

We're looking for a highly motivated developer with good front-end development experience. You'll need to be able to work with different stakeholders to understand requirements from both a technical and product standpoint.

Here are some requirements for the role:

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native applications using clean code.
• Implement pixel-perfect user interfaces that match designs.
• You're proficient with TypeScript and React Native with at least 1 year of experience
• You've worked on at least one SaaS product or Mobile application and understand the working of backend systems.
• Diagnose and repair bugs and performance bottlenecks for native-like performance.

Essential

Experience with React Native (or strong React experience) and building mobile apps

Empathy - As part of a small team you'll work closely with various stakeholders and customers. You'll be expected to take time to develop solutions that consider everybody's view.

Great communication - You must be able to clearly communicate your ideas and strategy with others as well as incorporate team decisions into your work.

Preferred (but not essential)

Experience building applications that communicate using NFC Experience working with APIs

Brownie points for candidates having experience with native tap and pay implementation

We work from our Bangalore office located in HSR Layout 6 days a week (Saturday we work from home) while in office lunch is covered.
