The Front End Developer will be part of the team managing and supporting Nouryon’s Digital Support Devops team. We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Developer to ensure the upkeep of high-quality custom web applications utilizing Angular, .NET and Microsoft technologies of our Web based enterprise applications. This includes ensuring alignment with business needs, compliance with industry best practices, and delivering outstanding user experiences.

This role is responsible for driving the technical success of UI design for accelerating software development and maintaining consistency between applications.

The team will work in a Devops methodology and team’s efforts will be prioritized and coordinated by the Product Owner /Team Lead /Scrum Master.

About the job (Job Responsibilities)

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Optimizely(Episerver ) CMS and React.Js
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate and understand their requirements.
• Design front end based on business requirements and user experience level
• Contribute to team agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management.
• Identify and escalate any application issues or risks to the team and provide suggestions for resolution
• Continuously improve development processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of development activities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to their emerging demands.
• Driving innovation/adoption of Industry practices through investigation/institutionalization of new tools/methods/standards.
• Ability to take a mock or concept and turn it into a working experience.
• Create documents and make sure that they are reviewed and approved by appropriate stakeholders.
• Participate in estimation of User Stories in Story points and commit the efforts required
• Develop to cover all user stories acceptance criteria and honor timely deliveries.
• Resolve production incidents or defects as needed, and proactively identify potential issues. before they appear in the production environment; contribute to the root cause analysis.
• Drive high performance and accountability for own deliverables.
• Actively participate and contribute into the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up, Sprint planning, retrospectives, refinements etc.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve the sprint objectives.

We believe you bring (Education & Experience)

• Master / bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Knowledge of front End tools such as Html5 , CSS3,PostCSS,Javascript,Vue + , VueX, JSON, Babel, SASS or similar tools if added advantage.
• Experience in responsive web development
• Experience in using RESTful APIs, Angular framework will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on knowledge of accessibility standards like WCAG 2.1 AA and AAA and the implementation of accessible UI front end.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug front-end issues using browser developer tools
• Experience in optimizing front-end performance for faster load times
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git, including branching and merging strategies
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how front-end code fits into the deployment process
• Knowledge of backend development will be an added advantage
• User Experience - Calls attention to issues that impact customer satisfaction; views from the end-user perspective.
• Good Communication Skills( Preffered Language English)
• Willingness to travel internationally as needded...
