Responsibilities for data analytics

• Utilize multiple development languages such as Python, SPARK, Hive, R, Java 

• Create dynamic reporting environment 

• New/refined analytic dashboards and models to support customer intelligence 

• Write efficient data queries to varied types of products and customer analysis 

• Analyse and compile customer behaviour and profitability analysis reports 

• Compile data analysis and reporting for Data Analysts 

• Present data analysis summary results to team members and business line leadership 

• Supports subject matter experts in specific business analysis areas while expanding his/her knowledge base • Assist with gathering relevant information and ensure understanding of the project requirements 

• Breaks down complex concepts into comprehensible concepts to ensure appropriate level of communication and understanding for the project stakeholders 

• Prepares reports for senior management to provide updates on the projects’ progress, risks, results, and successes 

Qualifications for data analytics intern 

• Working towards a Master's Degree or Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or Data Analytics 

• Knowledge of SQL script and basic data modeling 

• Data analysis skills, Advanced Excel, Project coordination skills 

• Highly self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills 

• Strong critical thinking, loves to problem solve 

• Passionate about data analytics 

• Attention to detail, willingness to ask questions, ability to follow up and knowledge of overall media logistics
