About the team

We are building a world class Global Data Platform using cutting edge Cloud technologies such as AWS, Snowflake and Tableau. This is your opportunity to join the rapidly growing international data team with a focus on driving a cloud first transformation for Worldpay.  Leveraging Safe Agile framework to provide innovative data solutions driving real business value to both our internal and external customers.

This role is a key position within the Data Solutions team.  You will need to have a breadth of experience in Engineering Data product delivery from requirement to signoff.  You will be hands on technically but also have strong soft skills, be able to collaborate with colleagues and business partners but also work through a problem alone.

What you will own:

•            Administer and support WebFocus platform including scalability, security, availability performance, and reliability of the platform
•            Automate operation, installation, and monitoring of the WebFocus platform on cloud and on-premises data centers
•            Manage and resolve critical support issues with a high degree of technical complexity
•            Measure and monitor service and support performance and health (SLAs, KPIs, etc.)
•            Plan and implement upgrades of tools and design system enhancements with emerging features.
•            Collaborate with engineering team on technical strategies, design patterns, and practices relevant to the optimization and continuous improvement of BI platform within the organization
•            Design, optimize, document, and implement the operational aspects for administering various BI tools within FIS data platform ecosystem
•            Develop and maintain operational runbooks and training curricula for support team
•            Provide enterprise-wide data visualization technical oversight and mentorship for geographically dispersed colleagues and contracted team members
•            Implement release management, governance, cost monitoring, user security auditing and performance optimizations to improve customer experience and system reliability
•            Apply emerging and traditional technologies for analytics improvements in support of enterprise analytics platform strategy
