Job Description

Overview:

We are currently seeking a Associate Software Engineer to work on design, development, debug and test of ARINC 661 graphics library (C++). This is a software library provides a generalized Cockpit display system kernel, User App interfaces & graphics rendering platform as described by A6661 specification document. ​

 

Job responsibilities:

·         To work as an independent contributor developing, enhancing, and maintaining Mission critical cockpit display software. 

·         Communicate and coordinate effectively within the teams.

·         Build and nurture team at offshore, develop team strengths and improve upon their competency.

·         Maintain integrity and work ethics within the team.

·         Support software engineering team through the execution of planned development/verification activities.

·         Designs, develops, modifies, documents, tests, installs and supports software applications and systems.

·         Understand the interfaces and behaviors of external software and hardware components that interact with the currently developed component.

·         Provides reliable solutions to a wide range of difficult problems using sound problem-solving techniques.

·         Scope out dependencies, issues, risks, & escalate prior to burning 20% of the efforts.

·         Technically responsible for project milestones.

Basic Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering.

·         1+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development and Verification.

·         Strong C, C++ & python programming skills.

·         Excellent debugging skill using visual studio, understand, adapt tools etc

·         Excellent understanding of Oops concepts, debug information, OS concepts.

·         Good exposure on V&V activities.

·         Expertise with Software Configuration Management and Change Control Process (DOORS, JAMA, SVN, JIRA, PREP, Confluence etc.).

·         Experience in using embedded development tools, debuggers, and Lauterbach.

·         Understanding of structural coverage analysis and unit test automation tools.

·         Understanding of software certification documents.

·         Proficiency in Quality audits process.

Recommended skills:

·         Good to have exposure to ARINC 661, ARINC 429, AFDX software specification.

·         Good to have knowledge on Agile methodology is an added advantage.

·         Good to have experience on different stages of SDLC life cycle.
