Quest Global is hiring for the role of Component Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Knowledge of electronic Component key parameters
• Component lifecycle and obsolescence of electronic components and characteristics, finding form fit functional, upgrade/downgrade alternates, create the Obsolescence Health Review Report/ Lifecycle Analysis Report.
• Should have good knowledge of environmental standards like RoHS, cooperate with vendors to ensure that parts and processes meet those standards.
• Expertise on Lead-Free terminology, understand MDDS (Material Declaration Data Sheet), FMD (Full Material Disclosure)
• Understanding Product Change Notifications (PCNs), Product Discontinuation Notifications (PDNs), Alert Monitoring of Electronic Components
• Exposure to Obsolescence Tools such as IHS, Silicon Expert
