The Software Intern (AI) will work closely with experienced AI engineers to support the development and deployment of a set of automated tools and services which leverage various AI models and systems. This role is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, especially in relation to the management, manipulation, and organization of media content for some of the largest media companies in the world.

Qualifications: 

• Final year Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering, AI & ML Engineering, data science, or a related field with GPA 7+ or 70% and above
• Basic understanding of deep learning models, neural networks, memory architecture, parallel processing, and language models, including experience with training and fine-tuning. Familiarity with using REST APIs, such as OpenAI or similar. 
• Basic front-end development skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python is essential.
• Fast leaner, self-motivated, comfortable, and confident interacting with other interns/DataCore Team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently, yet confident in asking for help when needed, and capable of completing assigned tasks on time. 
• Demonstratable interest in AI/ML through open source projects and contributions. 
• Continuous self-led learner, comfortable learning new applications, repositories, and technologies through utilities like YouTube, Discord, Medium.com, and other online sources.
