Position Summary

The role of Test Engineers is to thoroughly check materials, procedures and mechanical or electrical systems to ensure that customers get high-quality, functional products. They are involved in all phases of the testing program, from designing the test parameters to troubleshooting errors, and writing up final test procedures. They run tests on various components and features to identify and fix technical issues

Your Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with a major programming language: Java, JavaScript and similar
• Hands-on experience with major testing frameworks including Selenium, Cypress
• Build an outstanding test automation suite and adapt to TestNG automation framework
• Experience working in small cross-functional agile teams developing user stories and codifying acceptance criteria
• Track testing tasks in the integrated product backlog and work in close collaboration with application developers to codify test cases.
• Understanding of Agile / Scrum.
• Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product.
• Participate in creation of test plan, test strategy, test scenarios and test cases for each project and provide detailed estimates of QA efforts.
• Collaborate with technical and business partners to write test scenarios based on requirements.
• Develop, modify, and execute software test plans and automation scripts.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results, execution.
• Report and track defects through Azure DevOps
• Collaborate and troubleshoot with Software Developers to resolve root cause of issues.
   

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
• Previous work experience as a test engineer (1-2 yrs).
• Advanced knowledge in manual and Automation testing techniques.
• Familiarity with testing tools including Selenium, TestNG, Page Object Model and Cypress.IO
• Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box.
• Ability to design and write complex software testing procedures.
