We're an early-stage fintech startup building the next-generation AI infrastructure for the banking and finance industry. We are looking for a software engineering intern to join our passionate team. You'll be reporting directly to the CTO, playing a pivotal role in shaping the user experience that will fuel our high-growth potential. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing key software components that power our SaaS application. You'll work closely with designers, back-end and front-end developers, and other stakeholders to bring our product vision to life.

Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying software applications and features under the guidance of senior engineers. You’ll learn by doing. And you’ll be guided and supported along the way.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshooting: Help identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
• Learning and Development: Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance your technical skill set and contribute effectively to the team.
• Inspire teams with your ideas, knowledge, and self-starting attitude

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science (or related STEM subject)
• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and software design
• A side project(s) that you are proud to present. This might be something you have self-started or a university project you are working on
• Curious, keen to learn, and proactive by nature
• You thrive on being part of a team
• You are open to and value feedback in order to improve
• A basic knowledge of modern web technologies/frameworks and a strong interest in software development
• Motivation to become a developer with a product mindset (not just a coder)
• Familiar with any major programming languages like Python/JavaScript (we are more focussed on your willingness to learn new technologies)
