Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for Software Engineer (Associate) at SecureGen. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing software, creating and maintaining code, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the design, implementation, testing and release of software utilizing company SDLC methodologies
• Continually maintain system and provide updates as required
• Contribute to the documentation of system specifications and test scripts
• Participate in technical meetings to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Develop software in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Evaluate and deploy software to meet needs of clients
• Provide Software support services to clients
• Deploy Software Solutions in Windows and Linux Environments

Must Have:

• Must be fluent in English speaking
• Strong experience working with Python and MongoDB
• Experience working with restful API, CSS and json.
• Strong experience working on Linux/Unix environment using terminal/command line.
• Some familiarity working with celery, gunicorn, SVN/Git and AWS cli.
• Experience working with basic database driven software applications.
• Analyzing and figuring out the operating system (processes, services, etc.)
• Must be ambitious with strong work ethic.
• Ability in organizing and managing multiple projects, setting priorities and working independently under aggressive timelines
• Be a fast learner with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in highly demanding environment where teamwork is a must
• Demonstrated strength in verbal and written communication.
