The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing server-side components and databases for various web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in web development and a strong understanding of coding languages, database management, and server-side technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side components and databases for web applications.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in languages such as Python, Java, C++, and SQL.
• Design and implement APIs and web services for front-end integration.
• Collaborate with the design and user experience team to create a seamless user experience.
• Must have experience in building and maintaining websites particularly in Shopify and WordPress.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Manage and maintain databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Working continuously on testing and performance enhancement.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in content management systems like WordPress, WIX, and Shopify.
• Strong knowledge of backend programming languages, including Python, Java, C++, and SQL.
• Experience with database management and optimization.
• Solid understanding of web development principles and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with front-end developers.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
• At least 1 - 2 years' of experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in at least one server-side technology (Java, PHP, NodeJS, Python, Ruby)
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
