About the Role

As an Automation Test Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that software products meet high-quality standards through thorough testing and validation. You will work in close collaboration with developers and other team members to create and execute test plans, perform automated and manual testing, and diagnose any issues or defects. 

Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing test plans for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborating with developers to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Participating in the release management process, including deploying and configuring test environments and providing support for production releases.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance
• Ensure software meets user and business requirements
• Conducting exploratory testing to identify defects and issues in the software.
• Manage and prioritise testing efforts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products
• Create and maintain automation test cases for various scenarios

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in writing efficient and clean code and test cases
• Worked in Requirement analysis and verification
• Experience in doing test design, development, test plan and execution
• Prior experience in handling tickets from dev complete to closed including defect logging, tracking and reporting (using tools like JIRA, Zephyr etc)
• Experience in UI, API automation and have understanding of underlying architecture of the framework (using tools like Java, Selenium, Rest Assured)
• Good understanding of system-level testing, functional, performance, regression, acceptance testing, and the SDLC process
• Exposure to continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD)
• Ability to voice quality concerns
