Job Description and Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic DevOps intern to join our team. As a DevOps intern, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and applications. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various DevOps tools and technologies, and contribute to the development of our infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure on-prem/cloud.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment of applications
- Automate deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, identifying areas for improvement
- Assist in the development of CI/CD pipelines
- Work with the team to ensure compliance with security and compliance standards
- Participate in daily stand-ups and contribute to sprint planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project deliverables

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
