💻 What we’re Looking For:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through manual testing as well as developing and maintaining automated tests. You will collaborate closely with the QA lead, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

💪 What you’ll do

1. Manual Testing:

   • Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases based on project requirements.

   • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

   • Document and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.

2. Automation Testing:

   • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.

   • Execute automated test suites and analyze results to ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications.

   • Continuously improve automated testing frameworks and processes.

3. Programming and Scripting:

   • Utilize programming languages such as Python/Java/JavaScript to enhance test automation frameworks.

   • Write SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing.

   • Develop scripts for test data preparation and test environment setup.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

   • Report daily status to the QA lead and communicate test progress, results, and potential risks to all the stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

   • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions.

🕵️‍♀️ Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.

• Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools (e.g. Notion, Jira, TestRail, etc.).

• Knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript preferred).

• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

➕ We’re Particularly Interested In People Who Have:

• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).

• Understanding of financial concepts or experience working in the fintech industry.

• Certification in software testing (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.)
